As a small business we find that the best way for us to give our customers what they want is through pre-orders. We can't always get in a vast amount of each product so sizes are limited however during a 'pre-order' the sizes are boundless! Allowing us to order as much in as what is demanded. This is why we see preorders as the best way to shop with Hard Times Clothing.
However, we like to offer more!
P.I.P or Pre-order Incentive Program is something we're now working on and building to make our customers feel comfortable and to reward them for their patronage.
1. Pre-order products will always be introduced at a lower price. We don't expect you to wait without having a bit of money off.
2. More sizes! 3XL is a size we've had a lot of people requesting. As a small company we can't always do this so easily however now due to P.I.P we will be including 3XL into the mix for preorders ONLY during the first week. You can read more about this below.
3. Whenever we release a new design we get people buying it and then asking us immediately when the next will be coming out that's of the same inspired fandom. Well now with pre-ordering an item if it hits 300 units sold we upgrade it to BOSS LEVEL 300. Immediately we get to work in designing the next design in the series and as someone who helped fund that you will be given the first look when your pre-order item arrives. Not only will you be the first to see it, you will get given the date of release and an exclusive 20% off code. Meaning it will only be £20 for the new design upon release. And yes, this can stack. If 600 are sold 2 designs will come at once, and you will get 20% off each and so on. Not only that but BOSS LEVEL 300.
P.I.P Questions and Answers
Q - When is the best time to purchase a Preorder?
A - If you pre-order an item in the first week you will guarantee your size 100%. After the first week we have to put in the order, while we want to guarantee your size the whole time during a pre-order period this isn't actually possible without pysically stopping people from ordering.
Q - So does that mean 3xl will be available after the first week?
A - No promise, as this is a new size we are being very careful to avoid wasting a product. We want to say yes but we're playing it safe and for now saying probably not.
Q - If a design hits Boss level 300 how will we know?
A - I will be updating social medias with the news, failing that you will see when you open your package.
Q - Does Boss level 300 count after a preorder is complete?
A - No, Boss level 300 is strictly only during the time of preorder.
Q - Will the P.I.P system improve?
A - Yes. Through time, we will be looking for more ways to reward our customers. For now we think this is pretty good and feel people will be thrilled with what we're able to achieve.
How do Pre-orders actually work?
When you pre-order an item you pay the full amount upfront, you then wait a certain amount of time (estimated roughly in the products description) for your order. When the item dispatches providing you left your email address you will get an email confirmation with tracking.
You will know if an item is a pre-order as the main picture will have the word pre-order on it, the 'add to cart' button would be replaced with 'pre-order now' and in your basket and invoice you will see the item says pre-order item.
The estimated dispatch date is always listed in the products description. We do our best to either meet that time or be early. Only during incredibly rare circumstances are we ever later than the estimated time. (only times we have were during covid lockdown)
Can I cancel a pre-order? Will I get charged
Yes you can cancel and No you will not get charged a fee. The only time we don't allow cancellation of a pre-order would be 24 hours prior to the estimated date shown on the items description. Saying that you can always return it for a refund. As a small company when we dispatch pre-orders the packing stage can take a whole day, 2 if there are a lot of orders. As a result we don't allow orders to be cancelled 24 hours prior to dispatch since we are working hard to make sure it all goes out on time.
Can I combine shipping on 2 pre-orders i've made?
Yes, we have no problem combining shipping of 2 orders, however we recommend you only do this if the dispatch dates are the same on 2 pre-orders you have made. Otherwise you will be waiting a lot longer if part of the order is not ready to be dispatched
Do you dispatch preorders seperatly to other products in the same order that are in stock?
No. If you make an order with multiple products and for example 1 is a pre-order. The whole order will not be sent out till the full order is ready and available. We highly recommend people order pre-order products separately to in stock products so you can receive what we have ready as soon as possible.
