No. Every Hard Times design is created by our in-house team, and our product photos are real photos of real products.

We don't use AI-generated art and we don't support it. That's been true since 2011 and it isn't changing.

All our designs are made in-house by the Hard Times team, so we're not taking on freelance artists right now. If that changes, we'll announce it on Instagram and Discord first.

We're always happy to hear from people who love the brand. Email help@hardtimes.shop with a couple of recent photos, where you're based and your Instagram handle. We'll get in touch if a shoot comes up.

Our only official online store is hardtimes.shop (hardtimesclothing.co.uk redirects here). Copycat sites have used our name and copied our designs. If a site isn't hardtimes.shop, we can't vouch for anything it sells.

The Vault is where retired designs are locked away. Log in and vote for the ones you want back. When a design hits 100%, we decide when it returns and email everyone who voted first.

We dispatch orders within 3 working days.

UK orders are sent tracked 48, so most arrive 2 to 3 working days after dispatch. International delivery times depend on the destination. 

Yes, we ship worldwide from the UK. International shipping is priced by weight and shown at checkout.

Orders sent outside the UK may be charged import duties or taxes by your country's customs. These aren't included in our prices.

When your order ships, we email you a shipping confirmation with your tracking link. If you can't see it, check your spam folder, or log in to your account to see your order.

Yes. UK orders over £100 ship free. It's applied automatically at checkout, needs no code and works alongside any discount.

Under £100, UK tracked shipping is £6.

Every pre-order product shows an Estimated Dispatch Date above the button. The same date appears in your order confirmation email.

Email help@hardtimes.shop with your order number, plus photos if anything arrived damaged. We aim to resolve shipping claims within 2 working days.

Get in touch as soon as you can at help@hardtimes.shop with your order number. We dispatch within 3 working days, so once an order has been packed we may not be able to change it.

Yes. Contact us first and we'll check your size is in stock, then follow the return steps above. 

Sorry about that. Email help@hardtimes.shop with your order number and a photo of the problem and we'll put it right. 

Spend £70 or more and a free mystery gift is added to your cart automatically. The gift itself doesn't count towards the £70.

Buy it now and express checkout buttons skip the cart, so go through the cart to get your gift.

It's one promotion per order. Entering a discount code replaces the free gift, so pick whichever saves you more. Our email discount codes work on clothing only.

Free UK shipping over £100 works with everything.

Fit varies by style, so check the size guide on each product page before you order. 

On every clothing product page, next to the size options. 

Turn it inside out, wash at 30°C with similar colours and hang it to dry. Skip the tumble dryer and bleach, and never iron directly on the print. 

Tap Notify me on the product page and we'll email you when your size is back. Retired designs go to The Vault, where your votes decide what returns.
