The above form is REQUIRED to be present in all refunds/ exchanges sent to Hard Times Clothing. This form will help us assist you as fast as possible. If you don’t have a printer, the information required on our form will need to be written out on a piece of paper in Block capitals and in English.
Merchandise must be returned in its original condition to be accepted as a return. Clothing must be unworn, unwashed and in resalable condition. (For example, your return must not smell of cigarette smoke). We allow 14 days from the date of delivery for you to submit your request for return/ exchange. You're then given a further 14 days to send the item back to us.
Non refundable/ returnable/ Exchangeable items:
• Gift Cards
• Downloadable Software products
• Tips are non-refundable. All tips are sent voluntarily and are not considered purchases.
• In person event purchases
• Sale period items (Read below)
• All “Mystery” products.
• Items reduced by 30% or more from their original price. This includes cart discounts
Sale Period items:
Items bought during a ‘Sale period’ will NOT be eligible for a refund/ exchange. A sale period is a mass online event where we reduce or offer a variety of discounts. Examples of this are: Black Friday, Clearance Sales, Summer Slasher, May the Fourth etc. Exclusive products released during these events are not eligible for refund.
How to Return your item:
• First, please email us with your order number -> CONTACT US HERE
• To return your item download and print out our Returns Form: Returns Form
• Please fill out the form accordingly and make sure it's present in your return
Any return without a complete form can not be processed. When we have received your return we will carry out the request needed (e.g refund/ exchange). Upon carrying out any action Hard Times Clothing will contact you stating that we have dealt with your request.
It's our customers responsibility to pay for the postage to return the item to us.
• Any unpaid postage fee that comes up as a result of your return will be deducted from your refund / be required before sending out an exchange.
• We recommend you send items back to us tracked. Without the returned item we can't process your request!
MARK COST AS 0:
IGNORE THIS IS YOU’RE FROM THE UK: When returning an item the 'cost' is £0 (in your own currency). This primarily applies for anyone returning an item from overseas (not UK). This is important, as we have not bought the item off of you. If you don't mark it down as 0 it's possible we will get asked to pay custom fees. We will not pay custom fees on our own property so the item will return to you or come out of your refund. Save yourself the hassle, don't add 'cost' to the return. Even if YOU paid $50 for it, the return will be $0 as again we have not paid for the return.
Exchanges:
We are perfectly aware that sometimes it's hard to guess your size over the internet. This is not a problem. We're happy to accept exchanges on all eligible garments. Just fill out the form here Returns Form and return this to us. You will also be required to pay an additional postage fee:
• UK (£6)
• International: Please email us, this cost is based on weight.
These fee's are not exempt in our 'Free Shipping' Deal. If you were eligible for Free Shipping on the initial order this doesn't make you exempt for exchange charges. All Exchange charges should be sent via Paypal to: matt@hardtimesclothing.co.uk
Refunds:
If an order is eligible for refund you will be refunded for the PRODUCT PRICE ONLY. Postage is not refundable.
In the event of an order being returned includes "free post" the standard postage price is deducted from the refund If the new price is below the threshold for “free post”.

• International: Depends on weight of the item(s)
Damaged Items:
Any damaged item returned to us due to a fault of your own will not be eligible to a exchange/ refund. If your product is damaged/ faulty upon arrival we must know within 2 days of receiving the product or we will not accept it back. All products are quality control tested and checked before being dispatched. It's rare that one slips past us. If you have washed your item and not followed our Washing Instructions and it's clear upon arrival your item will not be eligible for a refund / exchange and if you wish the product to be returned we will require a small fee (Please do not send items damaged in the wash, if you have damaged our product in any way we are not held responsible).
We only accept genuinely faulty goods. Hard Times Clothing is not responsible for acceptable general wear and tear or damage such as shrinkages during the washing process. Faults do not include stains on garment which are caused by customer actions.
The colour of the design is different/ the image is a different size:
Our products on our website are known as 'mocks'. These are computer generated images of the art on a tshirt. As we screen print our tshirts (best form of printing) the artwork can sometime have subtle changes in colour as it's almost next to impossible to have it EXACTLY the same colour as a computer generated image. Taking into account, lighting, screen resolutions etc. It's also worth noting that the general size of the print will be the exact same for all sizes, small to 5XLarge. In other words, the larger the size the more space below the image there may be. We don't consider this a fault with our product.
Non collected items:
All our orders are tracked. In the event an item has not been collected it’s generally returned to us after 2 weeks have passed. However it’s the customers responsibility to check on this. The tracking will be updated when the item has returned to us. From then you will be expected to pay for postage again for the order to be resent. If your order originally was eligible for ‘Free Shipping’ this promotion wouldn’t be applied again to the resent item.
